Your spouse’s SSN must not be equal to the Primary SSN on another tax return. This commonly occurs when one spouse files a separate tax return while the other attempts to file jointly.

 

Fix #1: To update this information, sign into your RapidTax account and make the necessary corrections right from your rejection status page. This may include updating your filing status to match your spouse’s.
