Form W-2: The employer’s EIN (on line b of your W-2) must match what is on file with the IRS e-file database.
Fix #1: Sign into your RapidTax account and following the on-screen instructions to update the emploer’s EIN.
Fix #2: If the employer’s EIN that you entered matches what appears on your W-2, then you should contact your employer and/or the IRS directly for the correct EIN to report on your tax return.
