The reported spouse’s name and date of birth on your tax return must match what is currently on file with the IRS e-file database and the SSA.

 

Fix #1: Sign into your RapidTax account and double check that the information you entered for these fields is correct. If not, then you can make the necessary changes right from your rejection status page.

 

Fix #2: If the information for these fields seems to be correct to the best of your knowledge, then you may need to paperfile your tax return for this year and contact the Social Security Administration (SSA) directly to update the information they have on their database.
