Form W-2G: Payer EIN must match what is reported in the IRS e-file database.
Fix #1: To update the payer EIN, sign into your RapidTax account and follow the on-screen instructions.
Fix #2: The payer may have provided the incorrect EIN to the IRS and on your issued W-2G. You can contact them directly to find out what the correct EIN is.
