The dependent claimed on this tax return by the primary taxpayer has already been claimed for the indicated tax year on a different accepted tax return.
Fix #1: Sign into your RapidTax account to remove the child from your tax return and resubmit to the IRS.
Fix #2: If you know who has claimed your dependent on their accepted tax return and think they may have done it by mistake, you can contact them directly to amend their return without the dependent claimed. Once they amend their return, you can resubmit your tax return to be filed with the reported dependent.
