Your spouse’s SSN was not provided on the tax return. If a spouse exemption is reported, than the spouse SSN must be provided.
Fix #1: To provide an SSN for the reported spouse, sign into your RapidTax account and follow the on-screen instructions from your status page. You can then resubmit your return for filing.
Fix #2: You also have the option to remove the spouse exemption by signing into your account and removing the information from your rejection status page. Then resubmit your return for filing without the spouse exemption claimed.
