The primary taxpayer’s name and DOB on return must match what is currently on file with the IRS e-file database.
Fix #1: Sign into your account and double check that the information you entered is correct for these fields. If not, you can make all necessary changes from your rejection status page by following the on-screen instructions. You can then re-submit for filing with the IRS.
Fix #2: If the information you have already entered seems to be correct the best of your knowledge, then you may need to paperfile your tax return for this year. You will also need to contact the Social Security Administration (SSA) to make sure that their records are correct and up to date.
